LARGO GP2 is formulated to suit spark erosion machines of all power ratings and sizes. The product is a multipurpose dielectric fluid designed to enable optimum rates of metal removal, together with low electrode wear, good surface finish and fine tolerances. The low viscosity of LARGO GP2 ensures good cooling and flushing actions in the narrow spark gaps, reducing the chance of workpiece and electrode deformation and leading to greater accuracy and speed of machining. The low aromatic content and excellent oxidation resistance of LARGO GP2 ensures minimal residue and carbon formation in use, ensuring improved filterability and extended product life. Furthermore LARGO GP2 does not contain any highly flammable solvents and has a higher flash point than many products of similar viscosity, resulting in lower volatility and improved safety. These properties, along with its low odour and low foaming potential, help to create a safe and pleasant working environment.
