Morris Lubricants raised over £2,000 for Make-A-Wish UK during 2020 and 2021.
Morris Lubricants, who are a manufacturer and supplier of oils, lubricants and greases, chose Make-A-Wish UK as their charity for support during 2020 and 2021, which coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic and limited fundraising opportunities. However, over £2,000 was raised through a quiz night, cake sales and donations from customers and suppliers.
Make-A-Wish UK grants life-changing wishes that revive the childhood that diagnosis of critical illness can take away, providing light and joy for children and their loved ones at the darkest of times.
Andrew Goddard, Executive Chairman of Morris Lubricants, commented: “Despite everything that happened during 2020 and 2021, it was fantastic to raise over £2,000 for Make-A-Wish UK. We were delighted to be able to give children the chance with a critical condition the chance to be granted a magical and lifechanging wish, and support Make-A-Wish UK with their vision to grant a wish for every eligible child”.
Georgina Fuoco, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Make-A-Wish UK, added: “With over 60,000 children in the UK diagnosed with a life-limiting condition, we cannot deliver the life-changing wishes without the generous support from companies such as Morris Lubricants. On behalf of Make-A-Wish UK, I would like to say thank you to everyone from Morris Lubricants who supported the charity”.
