A student at a local high school has received a kind donation from Morris Lubricants to assist with their studies recently.
Morris Lubricants donated four of their new and instantly-recognisable blue and yellow branded 205 litre barrels to sixth form student Ellyse Barker at Shrewsbury High School to help with her Arts Award qualification.
Ellyse is running a painting workshop where the junior school children at Shrewsbury High School will decorate the barrels in bright colours with a theme of upcycling. The barrels are intended to be turned into large planters once they have been decorated and will be placed around the school site as permanent garden features.
The Shrewsbury-based oils, lubricants and greases manufacturer and distributor were delighted to help with a local student to inspire her to grow her arts and leadership talents.
Ellyse Barker commented: “I would like to say thank you very much to Morris Lubricants for the barrels. They are perfect for the arts event that I intend to run for my qualification. I am really excited to run this workshop and I am very grateful to Morris Lubricants for their contribution in making my idea possible.”
