Morris Lubricants To Attend Hillhead 2024

Leading UK off-highway oil and lubricant manufacturer Morris Lubricants is eagerly anticipating the upcoming Hillhead 2024 event.

Held at the Hillhead Quarry, Buxton from 25th-27th June, the show offers the opportunity to demonstrate the features and benefits of Morris Lubricants' quality off-highway oils, greases and lubricants. These oils and lubricants are specifically developed for the tough working environments and extreme requirements that off-highway vehicles operate under.

Technical experts from Morris Lubricants, will be on hand in the showground pavilion, Stand PC13 to answer visitors’ questions about their off-highway oil, grease and lubricant requirements as well as discuss the latest industry updates, OEM approvals, specifications and emerging lubricant technologies.

What did Guy Martin discover in a quarry?

Last year, Morris Lubricants Technology Manager, Adrian Hill and brand ambassador Guy Martin visited a quarry to look at some of the largest vehicles in the Off-Highway industry where they recorded a selection of videos for the popular ‘How Oil is Used’ series.

As these vehicles work in such extreme environments, Adrian and Guy discussed why it is so important to select the correct quality oils, lubricants, fluids and greases for off-highway vehicles & plant equipment to make sure they stay working in the quarry and not stuck in the workshop.

In this video series, Guy Martin and Adrian discuss the different important elements of the off-highway industry. Episode one reviews why you need to select the correct specification for ‘engine oils.’ Episode two looks at the various requirements of ‘gear and transmission oils.’ Episode three discusses the use of quality ‘hydraulic oils’ and why cheap is not always better, in episode four Adrian and Guy chat about the importance of ‘antifreeze coolants’, and the final episode looks at the wide variety of ‘greases’ available.
