Morris Lubricants Dragon Boat Team Roar for Severn Hospice

Morris Lubricants, the oil and lubricants company took to the water in the annual Dragon Boat Race to raise vital funds for the Severn Hospice charity.

The team from Morris Lubricants went head-to-head with other local businesses from Shrewsbury & Shropshire, on the River Severn.

The goal was to raise £1,000 and the team smashed it, raising £1,395 for this fantastic charity, who give specialist care and support to families across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Mid Wales.

The Severn Hospice Charity were hoping to smash their fundraising budget as there was a record number of teams participating this year.

Severn Hospice said “This was a record breaker and a huge thanks go to everyone who took part, volunteered, supported and spectated. Your support means we can be there for so many local people living with incurable illness”

The Morris Lubricants team thoroughly enjoyed dressing up as the ‘Morris Minions’ and had a great day amongst other local businesses supporting a great cause.
