The next Morris Lubricants Training Academy online training session is dedicated to Hydraulic Fluids.
Hydraulic oils and fluids are a critical system component, but their importance is generally understated and they are wrongly considered to be commodities.
Not all hydraulic oils are the same, even if some of the basic qualities appear equal, such as viscosity. Price shouldn’t be the only factor when choosing a hydraulic fluid as it can be a false economy that may lead to expensive repairs and downtime, further down the line. So, it's important that you understand how to give your equipment the highest level of protection and maintain system efficiency.
In this session, we will review the features of hydraulic systems, the important functions that a hydraulic fluid should provide, the types of hydraulic fluid available and the important parts these different products do to maintain consistent performance levels.
