Product Updates -New Performance Specifications Added To Versimax HD12 & HD14:
Upgraded for the Future of Heavy-Duty Performance
Morris Lubricants has announced significant updates to two of its flagship heavy-duty diesel engine oils, Versimax HD12 15W-40 and Versimax HD14 10W-30, ensuring they meet the latest industry standards and OEM requirements.
KEY SPECIFICATION UPGRADES:
ACEA Upgrade: Both products have moved from ACEA E9 to ACEA E11, aligning with the latest European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association Heavy-Duty sequences. ACEA E11 delivers:
• Enhanced oxidation stability for improved high-temperature performance.
• Better aeration resistance for oil film strength under high-speed operation.
• Improved piston cleanliness and biofuel compatibility.
These improvements are essential as the industry prepares for Euro 7 emissions standards, which will apply to trucks, lorries, HGVs, coaches and buses from late 2026.
New OEM Specification: Both grades now include JASO DH-2, a specification from the Japanese Automotive Standards Organisation. This addition ensures compatibility with engines from leading Japanese manufacturers, broadening the oils’ application across global fleets, particularly in the off-highway sector.
WHY THESE CHANGES MATTER:
The transition to ACEA E11 and inclusion of JASO DH-2 positions Versimax HD12 and HD14 as future-ready lubricants. They support advanced aftertreatment systems, reduce emissions, and maintain engine durability under demanding conditions – all critical as fleets prepare for Euro 7 compliance.
