Finishing in twentieth in the first race, she then finished seventeenth in the second before saving her best performance of the season by finishing in eleventh place in the third and final race of the weekend. The weekend's results boosted Lydia's championship standings, as she now sits in seventeenth position overall.

Ten-times British Champion Luke Harris had a challenging day at the ACU British Masters Championship at Frittenden, where he was dealt with some issues with his bike. In his four preliminary races, Luke finished in sixth, fourth, seventh and fourth positions, respectively. After a downpour of rain before the semi finals, track conditions became tricky and slippery, with visibility and control becoming problematic in the sloppy mud. After the points tally, Luke finished in fifteenth place, which he was disappointed with, but he was competing against other riders who are the best in the country and compete internationally.

Luke's next meeting takes place at Ledbury on 21st August.
